Santa Arizona (Todd Smeltzer) a real bearded Santa of 28 years, a family man, with a son, and a daughter, and has lived in Chandler Arizona for over 34 years now. He is a professional children’s/family entertainer for the past 34 years, performing magic, face painting, balloon artistry, MC/Comedy, film, TV, Radio, and live performances. For 36 years he has been a professional clown, going by BoBo the Magic Clown.

Santa Arizona was born in Michigan, and lived in New York City for five years, were he studied at the American Academy of dramatic arts. He started to perform for corporate and family parties over 28 years ago when his son Joseph was born and he walked into a mall to see Santa for that first magical photo, but instead what he found was anything but magical as many of you have experienced. So, at that moment he decided to create a Santa full of life, hope, joy, an elf like spirit who embraced the magic and wonder of Christmas. A Jolly Old Elf that he could bring to children and adults of all ages. This elf could play, do magic, sing carols, dance a jig, tell stories, do Q & A and embrace the true meaning of Christmas, to give to others of our gifts, talents, and love! At present he has over 18 outfits all handmade and all from head-to-toe costing over $1000.00 They range from the American contemporary – the Coca-Cola red and white fur Santa, then he has an old-world Victorian with a vest, or full robes and gown with a wreath for the head dressing, they range in colors from red, green, gold, white, blue, and burgundy. This year Santa Arizona has added a workshop Santa with red and white stripes Bibs and an outfit from the movie Christmas Chronical staring Kurt Russell and produced by Disney, that he has been getting many requests for.

Over the years, Santa Arizona has performed in countless productions, on stage, in parks, private showings, parades and festivals, last year alone he performed 146 parties and started to do his first Video/Zoom parties due to Covid-19, these were such a success that Santa Arizona is now offering them on his calendar booking page and is looking to do even more appearances for this upcoming season, both here in Arizona and across the United States. The great thing about the video visits is that it’s not about the presents as much as it is about the connection between Santa Arizona and the children.

Santa Arizona has worked with special needs adults and children of all ages, and businesses, just to name a few: Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase Bank, Bank one ballpark, McDonald’s Corp.
